Disable History Settings in Firefox

By default, all modern Web browsers maintain information about the websites you visit. In addition to storing the time and date of each viewed page, the browser keeps track of the title and Web address associated with the page. This allows anyone with access to your browser to view and sort your complete viewing history. Thankfully, disabling the settings that control this behavior is a quick task if you use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera.

This article will help you to disable history settings  in Firefox.

Instructions
  1. Click "Tools" in the top menu bar and select "Options".
  2. Select the "Privacy" tab.
  3. Uncheck each of the three boxes located beneath the "History" heading in Firefox 2. If you use Firefox 3, simply click the dropdown menu at the top of the dialog box and select "Never remember history."
  4. Click "OK" to confirm your changes.
